Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Home Pet Monitor (the “App”), developed and operated by DedalDev Doo, a company registered in Serbia. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The agreement

This is an agreement between you and DedalDev Doo. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted here with an effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

2. What the App is, and is not

Home Pet Monitor lets you use one phone as a camera and another as a viewer to watch your pet over a live connection. It is a convenience tool for pet owners.

• The App is not a security system and not a safety or medical device.
• It is not a substitute for responsible, in-person pet care.
• Reliability depends on things outside our control, including Wi-Fi and mobile networks, device batteries, and phone operating systems. Connections can drop and alerts can be delayed or missed.

Please place the camera phone safely and securely, keep it charged, and do not rely on the App as the only way you care for your pet.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

You are responsible for how you use the camera. Only record in places and situations where you have the right to do so, and comply with all applicable laws, including obtaining consent from any people who may be recorded.

4. Free and Pro features

The core features, including live video and audio, one camera and one viewer, two-way talk, and snapshots, are free. An optional Pro subscription unlocks additional features such as smart motion and sound alerts, multiple viewers, and recording and playback.

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your app store account. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.

5. Your content

Any snapshots or recordings you create stay on your own devices. Live streams travel directly between your paired phones and are not routed to us for storage. We do not access your content and claim no ownership of it. You are solely responsible for the content you capture and how you use it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that alerts will always be delivered.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DedalDev Doo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed alerts, dropped connections, or your reliance on the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes to the App

We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the App, at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes where practical.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, and any disputes are subject to the courts of Belgrade. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the mandatory legal protections of your country of residence.
